Sarah Ver Schuur, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Sarah is a San Antonio, Texas native that moved to Omaha, Nebraska with her husband and two cats. She grew up playing multiple sports, including softball, volleyball, and basketball with her passion leaning to softball. Her high school softball team went to state competition back-to-back times and finished with a runner-up and 3rd place medal, respectively. Sarah played the positions of first base and catcher during both of those state appearances. She was also in the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, and on the President’s list during her entire high school career. Notably, she graduated with honors.

 

She then went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Schreiner University in 2013. During her college career, she played softball and was an active member of Residents Assistants. She maintained a position on the Dean’s List all four years and graduated with Cum Laude honors.

 

Following graduation, she earned an Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2021. Since that time, she has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopedic outpatient clinics and home health. Through those experiences she discovered her passion is treating athletes of all ages.

 

She and her husband enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping, and trap shooting, as well as spending time with their two cats. Sarah enjoys weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, yoga and long walks. When she isn’t active she is reading mystery novels or baking her favorite chocolate chip cookies.
