Kellen Goertzen, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC

Physical Therapist

Kellen originally hails from Henderson, NE. He earned his BS in Athletic Training at Bethel College where he also played football, track and golf with Academic All-American honors. Kellen went onto earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating with honors. He has also added the Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) certification to his physical therapy credentials.

Upon graduation, his experience has held opportunities in outpatient rehabilitation clinics, as well as collegiate and high school athletic training roles. Most notably, Kellen was the lead therapist for the NFL combine training group at EXOS in Los Angeles, CA in early 2016 where he worked closely with athletes, coaches and agents to coordinate rehab and performance plans for athletes preparing for the NFL combine.

His experience has provided him an intimate understanding of worker’s compensation cases and the Medicare system. He has continued to expand his practice by adding the Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level 1, Functional Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2, and Postural Restoration
Institute® techniques to his toolbox.

Outside of work, Kellen’s interests include playing golf, strength training, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team.
