Joe Burbach, MS, CSCS, USAW-2, RPR-1

Performance Coach

Joe was born and raised in Omaha, NE and graduated from Creighton Prep High School in 2014. He was a multisport athlete growing up and competed in lacrosse and hockey at the high school level. He continued his education by earning a degree in Exercise Science from Rockhurst University in 2018, where he also played four years of collegiate lacrosse. From there, Joe furthered his education at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) where he earned his master’s degree in Health and Kinesiology in 2020.

While attending school, he completed several internships in the field of athletic performance logging more than a year of internship experience, which is an impressive amount in this field. His internship experience includes positions at D1 Sports Training, Creighton University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, and UNO.

He entered the field of exercise and fitness because of the impact it had on his life growing up. Because of this, he is passionate about guiding people and instilling confidence in their abilities, as well as ensuring they receive the right coaching. Joe became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2018 and also holds the Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 certificate, which he earned in 2017. He believes each person has a unique starting point and their own goals, and a great strength coach should be able to meet someone and empower them to meet those goals and master their challenges.

Currently, he continues to compete in lacrosse at the semi-pro level, playing for the Omaha Rebels. In his free time Joe enjoys walking his dog, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Maintaining relationships with people important to him is one of his core values.
