Brittany Wagner, PT, DPT

 Physical Therapist

Brittany hails from Kansas City, MO where she grew up as an 8-time letter winner and multi-sport athlete playing soccer, softball, volleyball track, and cross country.  She earned a full-ride scholarship in soccer and a four-year spot as the starting goalkeeper at Oklahoma City University.  She also walked on to the softball team her senior year and played first base for the Stars.  During her tenure as a collegiate athlete, Brittany earned many honors, including being a seven-time conference player of the week and an ESPN the Magazine CoSIDA Academic All-American honor.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Studies.

She then pursued the field of physical therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where her name was found consistently on the Dean’s Honor Roll.  She graduated with Outstanding Distinction in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Following her professional program, she returned to Kansas City where she garnered expansive experience in the areas of worker’s compensation, Medicare, inpatient rehabilitation and sports specific rehabilitation.

Prior to joining the team at Athletes’ Training Center, Brittany ran the Select Performance Training Center, a sports rehab facility, for Select Physical Therapy in Kansas City.  During this time, she had the privilege of working with FC Kansas City, a National Women’s Soccer League team, US Women’s Soccer League players, the Kansas City Phantoms arena league football team, and a player from the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as many youth soccer clubs from the area.

Now in Omaha, Brittany and her husband Matt enjoy any and all outdoor activities, especially sand volleyball, golf, and exploring the many trails in the area with their dog Wrigley.
