Amy Isherwood, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Amy grew up on a farm near Carroll, IA. She graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in
2002 where she was a multisport athlete, participating in basketball and volleyball. It was during
this time, after rehabbing a few minor sports related injuries, she discovered her passion for
sports medicine.

She continued her education and basketball career at Creighton University. During her time
there, she was a part of the 2004 WNIT Championship team and broke the school record for
career blocked shots. She finished her undergraduate studies in 2006 with an Exercise Science

Amy received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2009. She has
had an opportunity throughout her career to treat a multitude of orthopedic injuries throughout
the lifespan. She loves building relationships with patients and helping them achieve their
individualized goals.

Amy and her husband Zach welcomed a daughter, Oakley, to their family in February 2019. In
her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and two goldendoodles, Tucker and
Paisley. You will also find her cheering on the Creighton Bluejays and Iowa Hawkeyes.
