Amanda Rickabaugh, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

 Physical Therapist

Amanda grew up in Omaha, NE where she attended Marian High School.  She always knew she wanted to do something where she could combine her passion for sports, fitness and the medical field into one.  She graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2012 and then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota.

After school, Amanda stayed in the Minneapolis, MN area.  She continued to expand her clinical skill set and expertise in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy by obtaining her Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certificates.  She combined this knowledge with her ability to work within a collaborative care approach to achieve exceptional patient satisfaction survey results.

Upon leaving Minnesota, Amanda ventured to California where she gained valuable experiencing working in a true multidisciplinary setting alongside chiropractors, physicians, and physician assistants.  She brings a strong background in manual techniques and therapeutic exercise with her as she joins the Athletes’ Training Center team.

In her free time you will find Amanda working out, camping and hiking, and spending time with her dog Henry.  She is a diehard Husker and Green Bay Packer fan and she is happy to be back home in Nebraska.
